A Girl Named Zippy-- by Haven Kimmel. This was a recommendation from all over the place. It was quite the pleasant read. One of my all time favorite genres is memoirs and this book didn't disappoint. It was very quaint, funny, and just all around good. I picked up a handful of other memoirs from the biography/autobiography section so we'll see how they turn out.

Hmmmmm - I believe I've heard about this book from someone else as well. I'm putting it on hold at the library right ... NOW!

I can't believe how many books you read! I love getting the recommendations-of course I just renew the books Michelle checks out. I'm not a big library goer; to hard with kids who like to run off.

glad you liked it. One of my favorite parts, that I had to read out loud to Derek, was about her throwing up the carrots in the cafe. It was way too funny! I haven't read the "sequel" but others in our book group have. It's about her mom going to college.

Sorry! I should I have told you about a few years ago when I read it. It is good. I read another one of hers but I can't recall the title right now.

Have a great day and thanks for posting daily. As you can tell I've gotten behind in my blogging but I did update with pix.

We missed you at dinner yesterday!
