Since Kent forgot to add some of the more important details about the rugrat to be- I'll create my own little post. I am not a girl who loves to announce pregnancy (although I will announce just about anything and everything else)-and therefore let Kent do the honors. I do have to say, however, that I was surprised to see his post this morning with no warning :) If I had my way I would simply post a picture of the newly born and announce it in that manner. Maybe with our next I'll finally get my way.
I am about 5 and half months along (24weekish) and due Feb. 2. And, yes, for all you counters out there- this child does belong to Kent although he didn't find out about it until I sent him the results via package while he was in Alabama at officer training.
I never wanted children this close together but other forces decided otherwise. I am very pleased and feel quite blessed. Excited is not a word I use to describe my feelings about babies and pregnancy- but I am happy.
I am ridiculously lucky to have perfect health and an easy pregnancy. I have yet to feel any side effects (besides the expanding uterus) of the little growing thing. No tiredness, no nausea, no sickness.
Oh, and I have to agree with Michelle- even though I have always been one to scoff at those who claimed to think their ultrasound fetal images looked cute (or like ANYthing besides an alien for that matter) I actually think the profile looks like a mini Zeb (who is rather androgynous looking anyway-remember that cute dress I put him in?).

You're 5 1/2 months??! WHAT? That's so awesome - congratulations!
You're running races and teaching early morning seminary......um, I think this would be hatred that I'm feeling for you. Why can't I have that kind of energy when I'm NOT pregnant?
I can't believe you are that far along!!!! Congrats on a healthy, symptom free pregnancy!!
WOW! As you would say, that is INSANE! I'm so very happy for you though. At this rate you'll have 4 by the end of med school right?
Congrats guys! Amy and Craig's will be just a few weeks ahead of yours. Fun cousin times..Oh, and btw, speaking as a Chiropractor's wife, I love the spine pic! Glad everyone if feeling good. Zeb looks great as a pumpkin too!
Congrats to all three of you - exciting stuff! I am super happy for you that you feel so great, it really is amazing all that you are doing while pregnant. I am totally impressed!
Does this mean Hank will have a half-sister? If you ever get tired of Zeb and C., bring them to Boise to play with Uncle Dave and Auntie Michelle
congrats. im happy for you. i will pray for a girl
Goodness, it seems like everyone is having a baby!! Congrats! You'll find that it's a little easier the 2nd time around, because you already know what you're doing :) And you're awesome to keep it quiet for that long, there is no way I could do that.
Sheesh, I have to agree with Mandi. I might be feeling a little bit of hatred. What is it with you Oswald girls and your ridiculously easy pregnancies?! It makes the rest of our pregnancies seem 10 times as bad!
That said, I'm extremely EXCITED for you. (Why can't you use that word about having a baby? Is it because of the newborn stage?)
I can't believe you kept it quiet that long! All that running, early mornings. You are a saint. It will be easier 2nd time, as mentioned before you know what you are doing and it flows better, still hard work no doubt about that but easier in a way.
Congrats to you all, so jealous, but I could never go back to that baby part, all the sleepless nights, bottles, etc etc
I am VERY excited for you guys. I wish you lived closer so then I could take the baby for a few weeks. :) then give it back and you would be good to go. So I am planning on comming out again next year...so I need your schedule Kent. So Mom and I can plan a time. Because I want the baby! :)
Congrats guys! I'm so impressed that you can teach early morning seminary, RUN races and go on all the fun adventures you do, and be prego! I really hope I get your luck when I it comes to that!
leslie- ya- really it's mostly the newborn stage that gives me the "non excited" feeling. I just don't love that stage and it brings me anxiety. I love my Zeb- but I wasn't one of those moms who was instantly connected and in love with my baby. They older they get the more I enjoy them!!
I had heard about this through the grapvine. I thought you might be planning on showing up in Utah with a newborn and didn't want to spoil your surprise. Congrats! Having them close is good and bad. You will be busy for a while but they end up being great friends. Enjoy little Zeb now. You'll see that the moment the new baby is born, it's like Zeb will grow up instantaneously.
you should post pictures of your expanding belly.
Congratulations! How fun! I love having my girls so close in age (now, but the first year was just a little, the very tiniest, bit crazy). I'm so excited for you!
congrats leisy! you are hands down the funniest pregnant lady ever. i don't know anyone that loathes it quite as much as you.
Your energy levels are amazing Leisy! I don't know how you do all that you do!! I love HER little profile shot...I'm guessing girl, for sure!
I love the cute little pictures! It's amazing how much detail you can get on the ultrasound. I'm glad you're having such a good pregnancy. And I'm betting you'll enjoy the newborn phase more this time too. I can't wait!
HOORAY!!!! That is so exciting! Glad you are feeling so well!
How very exciting! Leisy, I felt the same way with all 3 of my pregnancies. I love the kids, but the anticipation of what was to come totally bummed me out. Don't worry, it goes away once you hold your new little cutie! With Alexis, our 1st, we told everyone by mailing them the ultrasound pictures! Yep, even our parents.
I thought something was up when I saw you at the Enrichment dinner 2 or 3 weeks ago....but didn't dare ask!!=)
Congrats! Wow, what a short pregnancy (especially when you announce it so late!) February will be here soon!
Don't worry, its not too bad...mine are 18 months apart.
