For Metta's six month birthday- I got a haircut :) My hair falls out like crazy until about this month after the birth of every rugrat. So- because I tend to look a little bald- I usually cut my hair around this time to try and hide it. Plus- metta is in the grabsy stage and I'm sick of losing more hair to her grubby little fingers!
For her six month birthday- she got her first illness (besides her UTI). We aren't sure what it is- just fevers- and sad eyes. But- she is still pretty happy and will give us great smiles :)
this week I forgot to put a bow on her hair ONE time when we went to the gym and all of her gym friends (the workers are her friends) were so upset with me! they LOVE her. and she LOVES them. And they were so worried that she looked like a boy. They said they didn't even recognize her without a bow!
She now has EIGHT teeth. by six months?! pretty outrageous if you ask me. and she still doesn't like to eat real food much. Probably because it's always squash and spinach and peas and green beans :)
and my new haircut. This is at the end of the day when it's a little ratty. Please- tell me you love it. I always need positive haircut affirmations. I really really do love it- but cutting my hair is such a daunting and emotional task for me!! why?!?! I have no idea- but it is. So it makes me feel so much better when people tell me they like it.
This shot makes it look a little longer than it is.
Here's the shot I sent to my sisters after I did it all by myself for the first time :) I wanted to know if I'd done it right! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the side bangs. I'm not sure why I went so long in my adult life without bangs. It's the shortest I've gone in a LONG time- but I'm pleased. and if you need a good hair girl in Dayton- just ask me!! you'll get 20% off the cut plus a lovely peppermint scalp massage and she's AWESOME!

Best haircut you've ever had. Really. It almost makes me want to chop off my hair. And Metta does kind of look like a boy without a bow on her head. You probably shouldn't leave the house without one. And your blog has resumed not letting me comment with my gmail account.

I am loving the hair cut! I'm always a big fan of the mom bob! Also, I was going to ask you too, does Zeb have any loose teeth, I think Cohen does and I am freaking out over it! I feel like it's WAY too early!
Not just saying this, it is soooo cute!
I already told you that I love the cut! The bangs are my favorite! Getting my hair cut/colored is always emotional...especially if it is a big change.
OMG!!! Love LOVE ur new haircut!! I love a change! I always tell myself that hair grows back if I don't like it!! :) Now I want to go do something to mine! Miss u! PS Metta is as cute as ever!! Treyson misses his girlfriend!! :)
I absolutely love the hair.
Happy 6 months to Metta Moo!
Your hair is awesome! Tons of body and super cute on your face. I never realized this was your first time sporting bangs. They look amazing!
I've been having so much fun and laughing out loud while I've been reading your blog--Hunter is supposed to be going to sleep in the next room but he keeps wanting to know what I'm laughing at. : ) You are so fun. I loved that Zeb was at the table eating lunch with the breakfast group. PRICELESS. : ) Love that kid.

OK LOVE the hair! I love short hair! I love A-lines also! So Yes you did a great job round brushing your hair and you look great with bangs! Way cute!
Poor Metta- Sad she is sick! Love all her crazy teeth! She is a doll!

I like it too, Leisy! Just as I decided to try to grow my hair out, you have to tempt me with this. It looks great. Is it hard to do??
