Can you see this poor little guy's swollen face?  he got a bug bite and swelled immediately. He hasn't said anything about it so hopefully it goes down soon!  It happened last night and is still pretty big!
Luckily he's a superhero and things like that don't phase him.

I think we have finally hit 'superhero' phase.  He's always shown slight interest in superheroes- but lately he loves them.  He especially loves talking about 'villians'.  He loves the Captain America commercials that are on tv right now.  Too bad he won't be seeing the movie.  He was crazy excited when we found this spiderman costume at a yard sale today for fifty cents :)
And then he made Ike put on the old batman costume we had in the basement. And they flew around fighting villains.
I love this picture of their superhero tough faces.
But I love this one, too.  Zeb is flexing a muscle and Ike is being Ike.

I love the superhero phase...so much! It's even better with two boys because they can fight bad guys together for hours at a time. Zeb and Ike look so cute in their costumes! I can't believe Zeb's little cheek is so swollen. It looks like he's keeping a wad of gum in his cheek.

We need to come check out your house and Dayton this fall...find a good place to pick apples or pumpkins or something and we'll come tag a long!

What cuties! You always find the best buys. That tough guy pose is even more convincing with that swollen cheek! Craig and Amy's kiddos always loved to dress up.

The 2nd to the last photo kills me. You just can teach those expressions to kids.
