early christmas tomorrow!!!!

Have I mentioned that our lives will change dramatically TOMORROW?!?!  it's match day for Military residencies!!

I am so excited.  super nervous. pretty sad. but still- mostly excited.  I thrive on change and excitement and meeting new people and trying new things!  I guess that's one of the reasons the military fits our family so well.  We're pretty adaptable and open to change and diversity.  Maybe I'm wrong- but I'd like to think I'm right.

Lately I keep getting all of these Texas vibes.  But my life plan puts us in Dayton-and I'd like to stay on course with the plan :)  We'll just have to see what's truly in store for us.  Luckily- no matter the outcome- we have five months to prepare and anticipate. And no matter the plan-we'll be happy.

The e-mail with the news is supposed to arrive in the morning- but since I think an e-mail is a SUPER boring way to get exciting news- Kent promised he'd print it out WITHOUT looking- then he put it in an envelope- seal it- and we'll open it together over lunch or dinner or something! All of my plans to help make everything more exciting may be thwarted with a phone call- but I'm willing to take that chance.  Plus- Kent promised that if he does get a phone call- he won't tell me what they say until we've opened the envelope :)

LOL!!! Leisy - you totally crack me up! I have NO IDEA how you can do that. I would be checking for the e-mail every second to find out ASAP! Don't keep us in suspense for too long! ;) Maybe make it breakfast - instead of lunch or dinner. hahaha!

I totally understand! There are so many places I want to visit/live that I always get slightly jealous of students who get to live somewhere for a few years and move on. Good luck, can't wait to hear!!! Oh and my good friends are in med school in TX and absolutely love it there.

That's so sweet that he'll print it out without looking. Can't wait to find out where you'll end up! I am totally the opposite. I hope to stay put where I am forever. So, yeah. That probably won't happen.

I actually think you should not open the envelope until Christmas. This is like a mission call!

If you end up in Dayton, you should bring your family down. We are only about 30 min south. Good luck with whatever the military decides for you!
