Ike eats bananas, Zeb eats apples. They won't trade, mix, or even nibble on the other.  Such little monkeys.
Monkey #2 has a bit of a cold. That mixed with the terrible twos=nasty nasty little screaming fits.  Kent nearly lost it tonight with him. Kent never nearly loses it.  How long does this last again!?  I think it was 4-6 months with Zeb.  I can't last that long again.

Has anybody seen the tv show 'The Middle'? So funny and so accurate in so many ways.  Most comforting quote from last week's show: "Sometimes moms scream things they don't mean". So true. And I'm glad it's not just me.
Luckily now monkey #1 is a champ and rarely causes his parents to 'nearly lose it'.  In fact- he helps out a lot these days. Here he is with his pal, Matthew, at open gym.

I love, love, love The Middle! I love how they are just a weird, yet normal, paycheck to paycheck kind of family. Much more relate-able than Modern Family although that one is super funny too.

Those boys are so adorable in these pictures, I don't know how you could ever 'almost lose it'. Ha ha - I feel like I get to that point all too often on a daily basis. There is something about repetitive annoyances that just push me to the edge. It's a good thing there are t.v. shows like The Middle to help me see the silver lining of the toddler stage...that they do grow out of it one day, only to turn in to moody teenage boys that run around in boxers and drink milk from the carton. Oh joy.

We watch 'The Middle' every week! So funny! I swear Haley asks every time we watch it, "Mom, am I a mix between Sue Sue Heck and Brick?" I think they nailed it! I'm not sure if I'm supposed to laugh or cry at that. Remind me to show you Haley's school pics from this year. Very similar to Sue's. Anyway, your kiddos are way cute - I'll miss them. They crack me up! (I don't say that about everyone!) You're a great mom!
