turkey in disguise

For a school assignment- Zeb has to disguise a turkey so that it doesn't get eaten on thanksgiving!  His teacher sent home a giant cardstock turkey- and we were allowed to do anything to it.  Zeb came up with this idea ALL on his own.  We did some research and then he picked out all the items needed at Hobby Lobby.  He did the coloring- the placement of feathers- and even the glitter work.   I helped him with tape and glue.

He is INCREDIBLY proud of himself and can't wait to show his teachers!! and he INSISTED I put it on the blog.  He'll be checking for comments to see who likes it- so PLEASE- comment :)

Wow! I'd really like something like that for Christmas so I could frame it and put in on my walls.

Zebbie:

Has your mother told you about the peacocks that lived in our backyard and ate cat food? They looked just like this.

That is some creativity, Zeb! I hope your teachers and classmates gave you a good reaction on your clever transformation. Actually, turkeys everywhere should be thanking you for making them look better.

Zeb, I LOVE the colors you used for your peacock! : ) It looks very nice and I'm sure your teacher loved it. Benjamin did this too, and he disguised his turkey as Superman. What a fun thing to do for school.
Have a GREAT Thanksgiving!

That is one turkey that won't need a presidential pardon.
