the big wedding!! 'Q and U'

I have to start out by saying that Zeb has the world's best kindergarten teacher.  Holy Smokes.  What a great year it has been!  I'm really nervous about first grade- only because I don't think it can top kindergarten.

Today his class had a wedding.  Like a real live huge event.  We even got invitations!  The letters 'Q' and 'U' tied the knot.  It was hysterical. and so much fun.
I was lucky enough to be the wedding photographer :)  I had so much fun.
see that archway?  I built it.  pieced it together and even decorated it.  who knew I could be a wedding planner?!

Check out all of the students as babies!  zeb is on the far bottom right.
Here they are lined up- ready to walk down the aisle!

Zeb and his 'U' partner- Daisy.    They were all matched up by height.  And they were supposed to wear the wedding colors- pink/purple/gray/black.

Headed toward the officiator (Zeb's teacher's husband).
It was so elaborate.  I mean seriously- a real wedding cake?!  how awesome is that?!!!

It was lemon and strawberry flavored.  delish.

It really is adorable, right?

There were party favors for the guests of honor.
People brought gifts for the classroom!

punch for the party!!

and lots of wild kindergarten dancing!!
a short demo of their letter songs and hunk and chunks.
and we sent them off in real style with a bubbly reception line :)  max- his teacher's son- was the ring bearer.  He's been over to our house a few times and we love him!

I love that I have a kindergartner and that I get to enjoy stuff like this!!  Having older kids is so much more rewarding for me than dealing with babies all day!!  Zeb is the best kid ever. Smart, kind, generous, sweet, and just plain wonderful.
I gave him several kisses during the event and embarrassed him sufficiently.

We are going to miss Mrs. Violet way too much.  What an awesome lady.

Hey! I thought I already commented on this. I just read it again. :)

So cute and fun - the kids all look like they just had the time of their lives. :)

Great job on that archway - AND the photos - very impressive work.

Darlingness flowing over.
