The essentials to happiness are having something to do,someone to love, and something to hope for.

review on wendy's bfast.
I loved the cinnamon roll. Kent had the blueberry muffin cause I wouldn't touch it. It was one of those really greasy kind...like the kind you get in a vending machine. eew. So not worth my dollar. Kent also had the hashbrown, far too greasy for me as well. I got this weird disorder on my mission. If I eat something with lots of oil or grease I get insanely bad intestinal kinks and cramps.
Anyway...the best item by far was the burrito. Totally worth 99 cents. It even came with its own little pack of wendy's hot sauce (not really hot). Also on the value meal were other little sandwiches and biscuits. Perhaps another time for us!
All in all we had a decent experience. I'm sure the big real sandwiches are even better, but we really only go to wendys for the 99 cent menu anyway, so why change that for breakfast?

WENDY'S DOES BREAKFAST!!!!!!!!!!!
This morning I saw the most amazing thing ever! I scared the trash out of Kent when I saw it. I yelped like a little gnome! Kent thought someone was careening toward our car! Really, it was wendy's. They had a big sign up that announced BREAKFAST!!!! I have been waiting for this for years. I've been telling kent about it since High school, how I all I really wanted was for wendy's to do breakfast! My prayers have been answered.
I did some web research and found this little blurb! Kent and I are going tomorrow to try it out!!
"The company has settled on a typical menu of egg, bacon/sausage and cheese sandwiches on a biscuit similar to the bread used on its new line of Frescata sandwiches. It will also offer its own versions of the morning burrito and French toast sticks"
She's free!!
Paris has gone home at last! She finished her 23 days (amazingly!). Hooray for the escapade finally being over! Maybe she really will stop playing stupid! I'll keep you posted on her progress! :)

The Mystery of the Swing
Zeb loves his swing! He will go in his swing and be content and eventually fall asleep. This is, of course, if I put him in the swing. If Leisy tries to put him in the swing he arches his back and refuses to have the tray put down. If she leaves him sitting there he will scream! Am I really that bad of a Dad that he just wants to get rid of me? Maybe he really hates the swing and is just glad to be out of my arms!! Or maybe (and I'm voting on this one) he just really loves his Mom.

Bathtime!!!
It's official!
Hip Hip Hooray! Today Kent and I drove up to Layton to Hill Air Force Base and Kent was officially commissioned into the Air Force. As of this morning he is an Air Force Lieutenant! He stood with his arm in the air and took the oath to defend the country from all enemies domestic or foreign. Baby Z squakked a little during the oath.
So, basically no backing out now, we have signed away the next few years of our lives! Talking to the Captain who commissioned Kent was great. He talked about how great the Air Force has been to he and his family (they are especially nice to their doctors). He has lived in four countries and said that he's loved every minute of it.
As scary as all of these life changing experiences and choices are, they sure are exciting and fun! Our lives are just beginning!

hooray for Z, hooray for kent and leisy!
Today was the little rugrat's two week check up. Despite the fact that he's boring and that we aren't sure what to do with him yet, apparently we have been doing okay so far! He now weighs 8 pounds and 2 ounces! The little fatty has gained over a pound. And the doc says he holds his head up way better then other babies his age (whatever. I think doctors lie to try and make moms happy and excited about something).
So hooray for kent and leisy! We haven't killed the little guy yet! I often think about how scary it is to keep this thing alive, but then I look at the world and figure if all of the crazies out there (i.e., our meth addict neighbors) can do it, we certainly can.

temple cleaning
So last night the ward called and asked if kent and I would go and do the ward's temple cleaning assignment this morning at 8 am. Just like our ward to procrastinate to the bitter end and of course I felt guilty saying no, its the temple. We've done temple cleaning before up at the logan temple (Zak was with us then) and it wasn't too bad. They took us on a really cool tour of the temple and showed us all of the unused floors of the Logan temple, including the assembly hall, sealing rooms in the towers, and even took us into the rafters! It wasn't a bad experience so Kent and I decided this couldn't be too shabby either. Yeah, whatever. It was Hell. I think I even said that to Kent in the temple. I didn't mind being there doing service but I really hate cleaning...especially the monotonous boring nasty jobs. And that is the very job that I got. We were there from 8-12. My job was to scrub the grout in between the miniscule tiles in FOUR bathrooms! WITH A TOOTHBRUSH. I am not kidding you. I was on my hands and knees on the hard floor scrubbing like a banshee. I hate chores. I hate cleaning. I figure this little adventure will get us blessings cause it truly was a sacrifice. I don't do that kind of work in my own home let alone for three hours elsewhere. For the last hour Kent and I at least got to work together. This job was not as bad but still monotonous. We spent the hour wiping and cleaning EACH and EVERY individual leaf of the fake trees and plants in the "grand lobby" of the temple. We even cleaned the ones in Randy's former office. Not to mention we were pooped due to a long night with the little rugrat Z. In the end they gave us weird frozen fragments of santa claus cookies. I still can't figure out where they came from!
So, moral of the story, next time they ask for temple cleaning volunteers I am totally pulling the "I'm nursing and can't" card.

Maybe he'll grow into it!
It was only 15 bucks! How could we pass up a deal like that - even if he is a bit too small for it.

Paris Hilton Ordered Back to Jail!
"The heiress was taken from court screaming and crying on Friday after Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer ordered her to serve the remainder of her entire 45-day sentence behind bars.

Time to wake up Zeb - you're boring
SHOCKING NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is an outrage.
My jaw dropped open when I read this. I cannot believe it.
Due to an undisclosed "medical condition," Paris Hilton has been reassigned from jail to her home, where she will wear an electronic monitoring device. "She was not released, she was reassigned," Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. spokesperson Steve Whitmore said at a press conference Thursday.
Hilton has been credited with five days of time served and will spend the remaining 40 days of her 45-day sentence confined to her home wearing an ankle bracelet with a range of 3,000-4,000 square feet. Asked whether she would be confined completely, Whitmore said: "There's some fudge with that. If someone goes and gets their mail, if they're 30 minutes outside, that's okay. It's a complicated electronic situation."

Jail is not hot!
Monday night Paris reported for jail! What a fun fun day!
Prisoner 9818783 is on her best behavior, according to the latest updates from the jail. Paris, 26, had the usual jail breakfast on Monday: cereal, bread and juice!
She reported to jail late Sunday after a weekend of partying and attending the MTV Movie Awards. "She's doing very well under the circumstances," Hutton said. "The staff here have reported that she has been gracious, polite, and thankful for helping her."

From Fetus to Baby
Weighing in at a whopping 6 lbs. 5 oz. our kicking fetus has turned into a small little baby! Charles Zbinden Miller, Zeb for short, was born at 9:18 A.M. Friday, June 1st. The delivery was great and Leisy feels wonderful. Leisy kept telling herself to not have the baby until May 31st at 7:00 P.M. Amazingly her first contractions began at 6:30 that night. After finsihing work and going on a bike ride she was ready for the baby to come!!! Nothing will slow her down! It was so much fun to not know if he was a boy or girl until he came out. WOW - What have we done!!!! We are parents - how crazy!!
