the baby,

Ike is no longer the baby.  He's a toddler. He throws fits, chucks toys with harmful intent, and is very deliberate in everything he does.  He also has the funniest new face. He gives it to people when he's confused, irritated, angry, and bored.  People in the grocery store wave- and he always waves back- but now he accompanies the wave with this face.  It's like he's asking- "who in the heck are you?"
And here's his new best friend since he and Zeb aren't on the best of terms (they can't figure out the sharing thing lately). Ike takes "teddy rabbit's" ears and rubs them against his cheeks as he falls asleep.  He bites him on the nose and waddles around the house with him in his mouth.

He rolls around the floor with him and hugs him constantly.  We got teddy rabbit in an Easter package two years ago from yaya. Little did we know what was in store for the little animal.  Ike thanks you, yaya!

Awww, I'm glad that rabbit came in handy! Hey, I have one that dances and sings don't forget...it may show up in a package too! The Zeb face makes me laugh because he looked that way when he was looking for YaYa. No matter how many times we told him I was YaYa he still had that look! Cracked me up!

Love the bunny. We got Trini one from the Gap when she had her first Easter, and it turned out to be her "special bunny." She did everything with it, and still loves it today, though it looks VERY loved-in now. I am trying to convince her to let me put it in a shadow box, since it has been such a huge part of her childhood and we have had many adventures with it! Like this one time, we lost it and couldn't find it anywhere. Turns out we had left it in a furniture store and when we returned there again (thank goodness we did) the owner recognized Trini and gave us the bunny back!
