two ohio disappointments and one positive miller breakthrough

1. Election day: apparent passing of issue 3- the construction of 4 mega casinos in Ohio's 3 C cities- and Toledo. Four times Ohioans have said no- but it looks like this time it's going to pass. Although I have enjoyed the overly dramatized ads stating that Satan is in the details of the casino building. They are actually kind of creepy.

It was, however, nice to vote for a mayoral candidate and realize that carty finkbeiner is finally finished!!

2. that crazy rapist in cleveland. Four more bodies turned up at his place today. How do TEN bodies just sit in a man's house/back yard/basement with NO notice?! Some were in shallow graves, some were under his stairs, some were just up on the third floor in a bedroom. I can't believe that that many women could go missing and this man could get away with it for THIS LONG. eww. ew. ew.

and to end on a positive note- here's another picture of rugrat #2 and his widely spaced teeth. The kid finally has six (with a few more coming in). Zeb had an entire mouthful at this point!! I think the extra teeth coming in are helping with his eating habits. I'm pretty sure today was the first day EVER that I've gotten him to eat three good sized real meals. Squash, yogurt, plums, oatmeal, carrots, and lots of wheat cereal. Way to go kiddo.

Nothing like poverty stricken people gambling what little they have away. Yes I heard about Ohio allowing gambling while listening to KSL this morning on the way to work.

Yes, and the Ohio rapist ... too bad Criminal Minds are not around when you need them.

By the way we had another old Sunset Heights 5th Ward neighbor commit suicide by police officers yesterday. You might want to facebook Mom or Metta.

I saw the article on msnbc yesterday about the cleveland rapist and I immediately thought, why are there so many stories like this that come from Ohio?!?
And the casino thing is totally ridiculous!
