yet ANOTHER reason to love this place!

Check out the amazingly beautiful ice storm we had today! these pictures are from our front yard this afternoon. The roads are disastrous and the news is already announcing school closures and delays for tomorrow. There were actually a few catastrophes in the church parking lot today as well!! Just a few cars sliding into to other cars is all. When we emerged from church it appeared as though all of the cars were covered with big pods of ice. We had to chip ice away to get to the key hole and even more when we tried to open our doors! I really love the way the grass blades snap in half when you slide across the lawn in this weather.

Stupid ice storm, I fell this morning and got a busted lip and hit my head on the cement! Yes, I agree that it is pretty, but like I said, STUPID ICE STORM!!!!

Very beautiful pictures. And seriously: www.yaktrax.com. Christian and I each have a pair and I wear them every time I go outside (since our ice storm two weeks ago). I even put them on my church shoes last Sunday and they worked like a charm...when you have to hold two kids' hands and pray that you won't fall, it's totally worth it!!!

WOW!! I do not like the idea of an ice storm, but those are beautiful pictures! And how sad about your friend who fell on the cement - yikes!

Hi! It was so nice to read through your blog and see what's been going on in your lives! You've had a lot of changes! Zeb is darling. Congratulations to you both! Congrats Kent on medical school! I love reconnecting with old friends through the blogging world. Hopefully our paths will cross again soon. If you ever want to come to NYC, you have a place to stay! Happy holidays!

Just last night I was reading your blog and lol-ing with girl Jordan (who lives with me, btw). I will be in the Utes from the 25th until Jan 7th. You, me and Emily will have to go to Gap one day and visit your sister and Matt and Fairy. We absolutley have to!! Let me know if you'll still be the Utes after the 25th. Ooooooo, I can't wait!!!! Blog me.

Luckily Cohen was inside, I was just going to the car to grab my wallet. I don't like to even think about it if Cohen was with me!

That is plan NUTS!! Someone could get really hurt with ice like that. That is not fun! I really don't like the cold/icy weather. But hey it's a good thing you guys do. Kent do you like cold weather? I guess I don't know-anyways pretty picture. I am just glad it's a picture and not real life for me.

I was recently banned from getting rides to school with one of my friends because I am constantly making positive remarks about the cold - how much I love it!! He told me I can comment that it is cold - nothing more, or else I never get another ride.

That. Is. CRAZY!!! There is NO WAY I would go anywhere in those kinds of conditions. Is YOUR school cancelled when it's that icy, Kent? How do you even get around? Does it melt pretty fast? SCARY.

I don't think they cancel med school. I bet things would have to be wicked bad.

HA! What in the world is the definition of wicked bad if not those pictures? :D Dangerous-ness to the max - you be soooo careful. :)

I have never seen anything that cool looking! I am glad that Utah doesn't get storms like that ;)
