We did it. and yes, here I am in all of my fatness.

It was my goal to do five 5ks while pregnant and last night we did our fifth. Since I still have nine weeks to go- I'm looking for another race to run- but with travels and snow I'm not sure if it will happen.
The race was so much fun. It's definitely my favorite 5k of the year- the Maumee Holiday Hustle. If you beat Santa Claus you get a free movie ticket! I wasn't fast enough (the guy runs a seven minute mile or something ridiculous) but Kent was. I did however come in a minute thirty under my goal- so I was pleased.
Zeb even loved the race! I was worried that he was going to freeze to death but it ended up staying in the low forties/upper thirties and he was bundled. He loved all of the houses we passed that were lit up with Christmas lights.
I am so happy that it's the Christmas Season! I love the chilly air and the lights on the houses! I love waking up and seeing our Christmas tree in the front room! I love cheese balls and red and green m&ms!

As much as I am currently enjoying all our summer sunshine, I do miss having a cold dark Christmas, with ligths and snow and pretty stuff you can appreciate after dark, we put lights on our caravan this weekend, but then had to wait till after 10pm to really enjoy them!
Finally a picture showing your expanding midriff. Looking good, although now is the time to be conserving energy for the big day, although with all this running I get the feeling this litttle one won't hang around when ready, they will just pop out and you will be back running 2 weeks later! Go careful, have fun.

Way to go with the 5K. Wait did you say Kent bet the guy? or did you just say he can run a 6 min. mile? anyways... you don't look fat AT ALL! I don't know what you are talking about-anyways when do you guys come out?

You my friend rock! I could not run one now, let alone with another human being growing in my belly. I have always wanted to do the race for the cure. Hey I have what ten months to train? lol

Leisy, you look fabulous. There is not an ounce of fat anywhere on you! You've got such a great attitude and all the fitness will no doubt help with a speedy recovery after the baby. Way to go!
