here's our little guy LOVING the fish at the library!

-oh, and about the"mom" thing. I'm totally over being excited about it. This morning Zeb decided he was ready to get out of bed at five. Completely awake for one reason or another. No tears...just in his crib yelling "mom! mom?". Boooooo.

Wow. Big fish! Zeb is so adorably enthralled, as always. Sure love him!

Yeah, once they know how to say "mom" that is all you will hear. That is when you start tuning it out. You will learn the art too (I know on previous occasions my kids have been saying "mom, mom, mom" and I totally don't hear it and you are the one to answer and say "what?")
It still is cute that he can say "mom". I can't wait to hear it!

Oh my gosh, I almost went crazy in the car yesterday because Bryan was saying "Mommy? Mommy? Mommy?..." every 30 seconds to ask me some kind of random question. I begged David to engage in a conversation w/ him just so I could have a break to think. But I still remember walking at the airport some time ago and hearing Bryan say "Mommy" and thinking how special it is that I have someone to call me that! It's funny how the same word can drive you crazy and melt your heart at the same time. =) (P.S. My summery shoes are Keds, so you should be able to find them anywhere Keds are sold!)

A couple of our kids started out yelling mom from the crib. Carver still uses "ma" as his mean "no" sound - lovely! At least I know that he loves me, in his boy grunting sort of way. :)
