LOVE LOVE LOVE (#1)teaching. Is that weird? I think that teaching is my hobby. Some people like to scrapbook, some paint, some do crafts, some dance. I teach. Even at six AM I can't believe how much I enjoy teaching the Old Testament to teenagers :)
Luckily for them I decided to make strawberries and whip cream with buttermilk syrup (#2. my second

love this stuff) on French Toast for Kent for Valentine's day. They greatly benefited. Here are two of the five students. They are the only ones that showed up today. It was five degrees and felt like -3 when they showed up. I can't believe that they are so dedicated. I don't know if I could have done it everyday in high school.

I feel the same way about the kids I teach. Some mornings when I wake up I think, I am so glad I didn't have to do this in high school. It would have been a total disaster. I'm amazed the kids come every morning--and comment on the Old Testament! I agree with you, teaching the Old Testament is pretty awesome. Good for you for subbing for a week!
