I need Ideas!!!

For cooking group this month, the theme is "Romantic foods". I need help deciding what to make!?! I tried out a recipe for BTS cake and it was okay, but I just don't love cake, plus it's kind of anti romantic. I have looked up Aphrodisiac foods and have a list :) Now, I need some good recipes. I also have heart shaped baking dishes, so that could make anything a little more romantic I guess! If you have any ideas, I would love the help. I am open for anything, the recipe doesn't have to include anything from this list! Is there some recipe that you always make on Valentine's day? what do you consider to be romantic food??

Asparagus, Avocado, Bananas, Basil, Chocolate, Carrots, Fennel, Figs, Ginger, Oysters, Pineapple, Strawberries, Truffles, and Vanilla.

taylor was accepted to toledo law yesterday, not that we are all that surprised, but he was granted automatic in state tuition. chances are we wont be coming there, but if he doesn't get accepted anywhere else, there is a chance. we are glad to know he was accepted somewhere. it's nice to have the first response letter an acceptance letter. we are off to a good start. i will try and think about some good food ideas. italian food is always romantic, and I have the world's best and most easy recipe ever for baked ziti.

I have a yummy cake recipe that would be great if you have a heart shaped pan. It is super easy.
You just make a white cake.
Frosting
1 package of cream cheese
1 tub of cool whip
1-2 cups of powdered sugar.
Then you make a strawberry danish dessert and put fres or frozen cut up strawberries in it.
Poor it over the frosted cake and let it solidify in the fridge for about 2-3 hours.
When it's done, it is a beautiful white frosted cake with dripping strawberry sauce, sounds kind of tomantic to me, and it's yummy too!

Green M&M's. They are the sexy m&m's, considered the aphrodisiac of the candy world.

thanks taylor. do you have any recipes with green m&ms?

the baked ziti recipe is as follows: (remember I don't really follow recipes well and I made this one up, so the instructions are simple, but it is delicious!)

boil a package of pasta (ziti or anything similar to it)

fry up a thing of sausage (some people use the italian sausage but I hate strange italian spices and the regular jimmy dean or tennessee pride works deliciously well)

mix boiled pasta,
1 thing of ricotta cheese
1/2 can spaghetti sauce
3/4 small bag of shredded cheese (italian blend)
garlic salt & onion salt to taste
(make sure and taste it because you may want more salt)

mix in the sausage
put it in a casserole dish (it makes a lot, you may need a second small dish)

pour the remaining sauce and then
the cheese over the top and bake for 30 or so minutes until its hot and all the cheese is melted at 375 degrees

Cinnabon and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies are some of the best...I hear...that's BYU rumors.

Well Martha, looks like you have got Vday all taken care of...

Actually, that wasn't me, though I do know too much and I did know that green m&m's were the aphrodisiac of the candy world. Hillarie taught it to me; it was when she and I bonded. The reason, she told me, is because green is the sexy color, so I think you should make something green... Green and seductive!

I disagree. I don't find green to be seductive at all. Amyway, I've got the yummiest cheesecake recipe if you want it.

Nothing is as romantic as dark chocolate. I don't think chocolate-covered strawberries ever get old. I think Monnette's is selling them for $2-3 a carton. Not bad for a little V-date treat.

check out this blog - http://heatherbailey.typepad.com/ for a neat valentine's idea (pink hot chocolate), although it's not really a recipe. What a cool website, anyway!
