My new best blogging friend!
First off, I am not racist! but this is funny. our news lady is named Shenikwa. that's right, "Shenikwa". It is the epitome of a female black person (apparently it is better to say black then African American here) name! and she's basically my new best friend. I don't know her, but she does have a blog! and she had a baby May 29, just a few days before I did! I read it often. She seems like a real nice person. Shenikwa - that is one awesome name!
I tried to see if we could take Krystal to Orem Community (our insurance only covers IHC facilities) - but, because it was so late by the time we finished at the after hours clinic, the doctor said that only Utah Valley would be up and running. We drove from Spanish Fork (where Krystal fell of the swing) to Center Orem (doctors office)and then home to North Orem (to drop of Marissa and Aaron) and then out to Provo. Maybe I need practice being in the car for longer periods of time (to get ready for our move to SF), because that much time in the car was TORTURE enough!
yuck!! what's the nearest ihc hospital in in spanish fork? is it uvrmc? you may have quite a few long drives!!
and i can't believe that the orem hospital er closes down! too bad if there's an emergency huh?
have you bloggesd on shenikwa's blog yet? has she responded to your posts? i read her blog, I quite like her as well.
By the way, you guys - to make a long comment even LONGER :) (sorry) - we went to the after hours clinic to AVOID the er - so the doc gave us an order (like a written prescription thing) to go straight to radiology. BUT - he wanted us to CHECK IN at the er (which didn't end up being necessary). SOOOOOO - it's not that hospital's ERs are closed (I hope they're not) - it's the radiology departments that are closed. Make sense? Not that you ABSOLUTELY HAD to know - but, you know me!! :)
